  • That to me is two separate tracks both good in there own space but not together. Some very nice sounds/textures going on in the pieces and some impressive virtuoso playing in "heavy"! Hot hands!!

  • Yeah it is a bit strange, and I do have a much better mix now that will be part of an album I'm going to put together of all the projects.
And yeah that solo was hard to play in one take, plus it was done on my piano which has weighted keys and no pitch or mod control, I wish now in hindsight I had used one of my other keyboards with the pitch and mod wheels, could've thrown in some nice vibrato and bends

  • I'd be a happy man if I could play like that!! :-)

  • Cool track! I think this and your Sound Canvas vocal track are my favorites. I was wondering on how you worked Sample Tank 3 sections into Cubasis. I imagine you arranged them in a desktop DAW and imported them, or played live into the iPad using an audio interface. The sample Tank 3 fits in nicely in the mix.

  • I played them live into Cubasis using the iTrack Dock, just plugged my laptop in as if it were an instrument, I like doing it that way because all my VST's are then usable in Audiobus and .i much prefer recording on the iPad than the desktop

  • That's cool. I never knew you could VSTs into AudioBus that way. I never heard of iTrack Dock but I looked up it up and I can see it's very high quality.

  • I played this video to my wife trying to explain all the clever stuff the iPad is capable of, all I got was "when I've finished on eBay!"
It was easier in the old days when you couldn't fit the desktop and racks in her handbag! :-)
