Beringher UCA222 Digital Out 44.1khz or 48khz?
Guys u need some help. Yesterday I hooked up my UCA222 SPDIF digital out to my soundcard but I could not get the UCA to send in 44khz. It only outputted in 48khz. It sounds awesome at that rate but my project is set at 44.1khz.
Checked the manual but found nothing. By the way I was recording iGrand which sounded absolutely amazing via digital.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

My approach is to feed the ipad connected to the uca via cck via spdif in an extra soundcard into ableton live lite, asio4all then can adjust to 44.1
That's exactly what I'm doing. I have the iPad connected to the UCA via the CCK, so the digital output of the UCA connected to my PC EMU 1212 soundcard's digital input. But even I I change the PC to record to 44.1 then there is a sample rate mismatch and the Piano cracked and sounds super thin.
If I put my PC at 48khz then the iGrand piano sounds back to normal.
Buy I want to record at 44.1khz.
This afternoon I will try something else. Maybe histing iGrand in Cubasis as I think Cubasis allows us to select the sample rate but I'm still not sure if that will work. Just thought of that, but I wont be able to test it till later.
Change of samplerate, in the daw or the pc system settings? Maybe the Emu Drivers? Easy to convert reimported files in audioshare meanwhile.
Got it to work by using Cubasis. In Cubasis, changed project settings to 44.1khz and also in my PC soundcard set it to be master at 44.1. It worked.
I did use Audiobus to host everything though. I didn't try Cubasis alone with iGrand, but with audiobus hosting all the digital outpout of the UCA222 was sent directly to PC with no problems at all. Will try setting the PC as slave and see if that works also.
