Will Audiobus be a host for AU plugins in iOS 9?
Just thought I'd break this out into its own topic from what I started in this thread:
Where I mentioned this:
"I do believe that iOS 9 will need a simple app that can host plugins at different places throughout an Audiobus chain, and the best app already set up to do that is … Audiobus.
The reason is any app attempting to do this already needs to be a host type platform itself since iOS doesn't allow multiple instances of the same app.
If Audiobus can be a host which would allow multiple instances of AU plugins, that would be more ideal for that approach."
I don't even know at this point whether an AU would need a host in iOS 9 or if it would exist somewhere in IAA-ville.
Apologies if there is already a thread dedicated to this floating around.

I agree. AU support in Audiobus would be really nice! :-)
I also love to see audiobus host au's and also be an au that can host au's like maschine on desktop, especially if it included multichannel support. Would be very nice if I could send different parts of a drumkit to different lanes in audiobus in an app like auria pro for example for separate fx treatments, then either send the different lanes out to individual buses or send everything as a stereo pair and use something like old timer to glue it all together.
