Mmm yes. I always look forward to these videos. He's basically talking of automation AFAIKT. This edition, if it does midi and audio is verging towards ableton which will make many people happy. I'll love that amount of control but not sure I'll be abandoning the classic loopy anytime soon. There's a lot to be said about simplicity and being basically a looping pedal on steroids.
I'm glad this is a separate version so we can have both of these very distinct beauties in our arsenals. Albeit many of the new features will inevitably drip on the old looper.

Sounds like a programable sequencer with FX you can edit and re-edit in very precise ways.
