Auxy Controlling Cyclop and an Arturia Microbrute

Auxy does make midi super easy, and it's super stable, which for a Midiot like me is great

  • Hi Benny Bennasi how are you?

  • Great demo. I'm still discovering ways to control my MicroBrute with my iPad, and Auxy seems like a nice simple way to do so. I've also used Xynthesizer with ease as well.

    Thanks Doug!

  • The Microbrute really is a great companion for the iPad, you can do all that cool midi stuff, you can use it as a core midi keyboard to play your synths and stuff but one of the really cool things is this, because it's a mono synth you can use your guitar interface to record it into you DAW or whatever

  • Sending the MicroBrute through ios effects apps is a trip. Using FLUX:FX, you can transform the sounds. It's really opened up what I thought was possible.

  • Really cool. I like it when you cover VSTs and instruments outside of iOS. I've found Auxy to be the best sequencer at syncing up with other instruments in iOS but I never tried anything from the outside. It's remarkable everything stays in sync. A testament to the Auxy developer.

  • Do you guys think auxy is better than pro midi to work as a midi sequencer laucher thing? I'll probably will be just sending midi to 1 or 2 apps

  • @sp3k ProMIDI has more features but I've run into problems with connecting and syncing to some apps. Auxy only has 4 tracks and is pretty simple but works with almost everything.

  • That's what I like about Auxy, it's very easy to use, recognises all the midi stuff, has its own sounds, it really does take very little setting up which leaves us time to make music

    Boom.

  • One (more pleasure) here as regards Auxy/Cyclop is ability to set up a pattern in Auxy and then go back to Cyclop and just cycle through sounds which then change on the fly. A good way if you find Cyclop all a bit too much sometimes (I do), but need to be able to hear a patch in action to realize what can be done with it....
