The Oval Kickstarter campaign has now run it's course and it ended very well bringing in €348,018 with 680 backers, me and my girlfriend included. So I decided on making this VLog talking about it.

Good article! I've been on a similar (unsuccessful) journey trying to get a hang drum and in the process I discovered the steel tongue drum; which I now own two and made an album with them recently. I also backed the oval a couple of weeks ago and can't wait to get my hands on it.
@moonstring I am still having thoughts about building (hammering) a PANArt drum myself. I have a friend who's a blacksmith and If I could borrow a corner of his workshop it might happen.
Btw, do you have links to your album? I'm curious about the result.
