Yep. Bluetooth I expect right off the back of jamstik+
Maybe it is a strategic product to make it easier for people to hook up their Jamstiks. I am not impressed with Jamstik, but I am impressed with the Puc+
a very interesting product indeed! but it does seem like most times you'd be connected to the PUC+, you would be able to connect directly to your iDevice because you probably need it for controlling stuff on the screen anyways... It's tough to think of a practical situation for it!
@johnfromberkeley
Have you seen QUICCO SOUND's mi.1 ? Curious on if you'd buy the PUC+ over the mi.1 and why?
...and it's available at Amazon now!
@Yendor the PUC is out now..its midi din like the m.1
The PUC+ is wireless USB which is awesome! Only other device out there that I know of is the Midijet and its big + expensive.
i use the Mi1 and it works great.
Yes, knew that the PUC is out now, but is not bluetooth like the mi.1 and PUC+... Thanks for the note about wireless USB difference...will have to see wuts up with that!
Hey AudioBus Forum - Chris Heille here, I'm the Music Product Specialist from Zivix - the makers of the PUC and PUC+. The shortest detail on the PUC+ is that it's a Bluetooth MIDI interface, uses Apple's Bluetooth MIDI connectivity in iOS8 and OS X Yosemite (which is sick fast, stable, easy to connect to, and can simultaneously connect multiple Bluetooth MIDI devices,) and can be used with your existing MIDI controllers (both USB and traditional 5-pin connections.) I'm happy to field any questions you may have regarding the PUC+. The PUC+ isn't available yet at retail, but if you're interested in getting on the info list the link can be found here: http://comingsoon-tech.com/puc-plus-midi-controller.
Welcome @drewchowen ! the PUC+ looks promising! Can we use a USB hub with it?
Guess that's a NO
Hi TGiG - because of the variety of USB hubs available it would be tough to make a blanket "yes" or "no" on the USB hub question. (For example, I have purchased USB hubs that claim OS X compatibility but don't work w/ my Mac.) What hub(s) do you use? I can see if we've got some info regarding your brand/model and get back to you.
Oh cool, thanks @drewchowen I just now saw your reply. I use this guy:
