App Request - YouTube/Media player with Audiobus

Doubt if this exists but let me know if it does. I'd like to be able to grab sound samples from YouTube videos (podcasts and other media would be good too). There are some YouTube downloaders but I don't want to deal with massive files if I just want a quick sound bite. It would be cool send YouTube audio to Audiobus in to Audioshare or even fool around putting a video through an fx app.

  • Some of those tube downloaded apps can open in files in audioshare where only the audio is transferred , chop it up there..

Beat time! in Audioshare using IAA will do the YouTube stuff you are requesting.

That looks what I need thanks!

@touchconspiracy I've done that before but sometimes I'll just want a few seconds out of a 90 minute movie and it's really cumbersome to covert such a big file.

  • Bingo!

For some reason I went to AppStore and saw I owned it, not sure how..

Time to get some spoken word samples into Bilbao!

    Cheers for telling us

  • How do you guys do this?

I load Beat Time as IAA in Audioshare, and load a youtube clip in the browser in Beat Time. I press reccord in Audioshare, but nothing is recorded?

Does the YouTube clip need to be downloaded to my device first?

    Thanks

  • you need to import that clip inside Beat Time

  • Thanks Sinapsya!

  • I didn't discover it, I am only sharing what others have shared with me. I've noticed that the import process can sometimes take a while but it is still the best way to do this that I have found. Now that we all know, how do we make this thread self-destruct? :)
