    Interesting question. There are a lot of musicians/bands that I hear are the "greatest" and when I listen to them they just don't move me. For instance, I grew up with The Beatles and for me much of their work was brilliant. But I don't see Aphex Twin in the same light as many seem to.

    I'd be sad if there was music that had no impact on me whatsoever. I guess I'm way too opinionated to feel absolutely nothing when I hear music, for better or worse. The visceral reaction, positive or negative, is one of my favorite things about music. I tend to think this is a particularly bait question though.
