I have it listed elsewhere but i thought someone here might be interested as it's a good iOS controller. You do need a computer to use the editor though.

Used in a smoke free studio and In excellent condition and will come with a replacement 1.5m micro usb cable in Apple white. :P

  • @musikmachine: I found, you can have it plugged into your Mac, but route the MidiData wirelessly to a connected iPad (through Logic, in my case). Just wanted to tell you, this way you can always use the editor for quick changes in setup, and still use it to control the pad..., maybe this changes your wish to sell....? It's a great controller!

  • Cheers. I didn't know that, what's the setup? I was thinking for those that just use an iPad but it's not the reason anyway, i just need to sell a few bits. I also have a maschine mk1 controller but didn't think there'd be much interest here.

  • ok, so it doesn't make sense for you. I'll post the setup, if anyone needs it.

  • I'm interested if it's still available. I'm in the UK. Will you direct message me?

Please do! And thanks in advance.

  • Ok, I'll try to describe it wholefully...:
You have to be on the same Wireless network with Mac and Ipad (adhoc is better, since no Internet-disturbances), on the Mac open AudioMidiSetup and in the midi-window doubleclick "IAC Driver", and enable it, if it isn't already (checkbox), close IAC Driver window, doubleclick "NETWORK", top left under "my sessions" create a new one (+), and name it (we'll call it "pop" here), the checkbox next to it should be checked. On top right fill in a port (I use 5004, I think I have this still left from some old Lemur-setup, anyways, it works), two lines down take care the bonjour-name is the name of your wireless network.
If you start some kind of midi-capable App on the iPad now, the iPad appears on the left (underneath "my sessions"), select it and click "connect". Sometimes it takes two tries to work, don't give up. Now it should also appear on the right, under the bonjour name. Bottom right you can select your input- and output routings (I always use the "Network Pop" , see name of your created session).
Now open Logic on the Mac, go to the Environment (Command/0), on top left click on "Layer" and select "click and port". Here you have all your midi-devices listed on the left, normally the "sum" -triangle should be connected to the visible keyboard. If you press any button on your controller, its incoming command should be visible here. Now, if you don't want the controller-data to reach Logic, but just be passed through to your iPad, go to "new" -"Midi Instrument" ( you can name it, I always name it the same way as the session in AudioMidiSetup: here: pop), find the inputport of your Midicontroller on the left ("Physical input", the writings are really tiny, it's hard to grab the right one) ( again, in my case it's called "input 1", since I have the softstep-pedal connected...., DON'T USE "POP" HERE, "pop" is the channel going between iPad and Mac, what you need to connect is the hardware input channel (the USB connection going into your Mac). Grab that little triangle next to it and drag the cable into your newly created Midi-Instrument. Once this connection is done, controller data from your controller will not go into Logic, but only be passed through to the iPad. When you select your new Midi Instrument, you can make selections to your liking on the left (the "port" should be "pop", other choices how you like, just remember which channel you have selected here, since that's the one you need to set your iPad's App receiving channel to). This setup Process is saved with Logic automatically, so you'll only have to do this once.

I hope, you get it going, let me know, if I can be of any further assistance,
I wish you great controlling funhouse madness,
    Cheers, tobias

  • @animal wow that's a very detailed guide thanks for posting it!
