Beatmaker 2 Lemur Template test - MCP

After playing with Mint IO quite a bit, it started making me think about
interfaces.

I ended up getting Lemur as the others did not do everything I wanted. It's not
for the faint hearted, really quite complicated to get your head around some of
it.

I wanted an interface to tigger/play different tracks at once. I ended up using
Beatmaker 2 as it has good midi and a sampler. I tried other single synths and
DM1 but kept getting problems. This is using Magellan on channel 1 & 2 and
Beatmaker 2 on 6 to 10, with drums on 10.

The template uses elements from the Liine community, Scalomat by Mat, Modulus,
Minikeys & NoteGen that I have tweaked and re sized.

Bit long and a bit messy (lol) but you get the idea. You can start loop
recording in beat maker and record, but I am having problems when Magellan is
running as well. Need to do more tweaking.....

  • wow.

  • Thanks, I was going to try with Cubasis, but I am on the fence as to wether to buy......

If Auria gets midi it might be the ultimate, but I am tempted to get Cubase to try...it is supposed to be quite light in terms of resources.

  • Sounds very interesting. I know little about Lemur other than Bjork playing around with it. Pls keep us posted with your discoveries.
