MIDI Breakout Box updated
Maybe not as useful now, since SoundCanvas can now save/recall states, but I still find it handy to have 100 presets with PC. The update brought back the volume and pan sliders.

Bump to include the link. Also, this is the same dev who brought us Symphonix Evolution, and the app is universal. At .99 USD, it's an affordable utility for the toolbox.

MIDI Break out, MIDI Bridge, MIDI Patch Bay, MIDI Flow, MIDI Vision, MIDI Patch Bay....
My head asplode...
If you have some of those, you can accomplish the same, but I like Breakout for the ease of use and stability aspects. You also get transposition, panning, volume, splits, and the ability to map midi in to multiple destinations easily.
Forgot to add that it supports MSB/LSB for PC, which works great with Roland SC iOS.
I don't see port selection in the images - is it promiscuous, or does it only have Virtual in an out ports?
I believe it's only using virtual I/O.
The AppStore description has a NOTE: REQUIRES a hardware midi interface.....
I guess that means you can only use with external hardware controllers and not between Apps.?
@Ganthofer Ah......well that's another 99 cents gone that I could have bought half an ice-cream with.
I've only used it between apps.
Well, then it might be more useful than the description led me to believe.
Been testing to see what apps respond to PC messages. I know there was an earlier thread on this, but I'll add this here, since I'm using BO Box. All the below worked for me.
ThumbJam
SoundCanvas iOS
Bs-16i
Wave Generator
Wave Mapper
Tera Synth
Sunrizer
MitoSynth
NLog Pro
IFretless Bass
JamUp Pro XT and Ampkit too.
Sector too....wild ride that one!
