Amidio and Pearl Guitar
When I purchased the Amidio brand last Fall, Pearl Guitar had already been sold off separately. I have not even had time to check it out, but hear that it has (had) some nice features. I think the new owners made it free and Ad Supported. From time to time, people email be about it as it seems it does not get much love in its new home. Many emails mention Audiobus issues.
Other than Seline, I have probably spent the most time updating OMGuitar (https://itunes.apple.com/app/id413803615) and want it to be the best of class. I have several ideas from users and hope do a more ambitious update. I am stretched extremely thin and still trying to figure out how to make my Indie business successful.
If anyone has some inside track on Pearl, I may have some interest in bringing it back into the Amidio fold.

I like Pearl Guitar!
Nice features and sounds great!
Would be a pity if it disappear :-(
Please go after Pearl Guitar. It really really was a great Guitar app, and it's a shame to see it neglected. I don't know how to contact the owners except for their website: http://www.appholdings.org. Good Luck.
Pearl Guitar needs the love and care of a good developer. If you can swing it and have the time please give it a go. Best of luck with all your projects and welcome to the forum!
This is just my take, But if you can't acquire Pearl Guitar I won't see it as a huge loss... It had some nice features, but it was buggy most of the time I owned it, and it never seemed to sound that great (boomy and lacking dynamics) or played very fast (Strumming). I may be alone in this, but I think OMG could be the real jewel... a strum controller with some potential. If Pearl is lost, then I would encourage you to concentrate on making OMG the best strum input app it can be. Good Luck!
We also offer a service whereby rotating group of Forum members will invisibly appear at your window and sing encouraging Russian work songs just when you need them.
Lol.
OMGuitar, another great iOS app. I personally like the various auto strummings/arps in that one (can't even hold a real guitar properly). Hopefully people will see all the updates this app, amongst other Amidio apps, have gotten lately. People are very fast to bitch n moan about the slightest little issues, and unfortunately that can be bit of an issue for devs I can imagine.
Johnny, I would join that chorus, but I will need to learn some Russian. Chris, I agree, it seems like a tough road out their for IOS developers, especially those who choose to deal with us nit picky and notoriously thrifty musicians.
Agreed, BUT there's a lot of good feelings and support available, especially to indy devs who show some willing and are prepared to talk, and certainly seems Eric is of that persuasion.
Pearl guitar is the only music app I kept in my iPad without audiobus support. Hopeing one day it will be useful again.
OMG, is a really great app and I'm happy to hear that you are concentrating on that. I use it often ,it's touch sentivity is extremely good ,clocking never drifts once BPM, is set, the Guitars and the Effects are superb.--- Good to have you interacting with this forum Eric.
If you're already stretched thin, don't look for another project, unless it's an easy cash-generator. Pearl won't be.
@dokwok2 Are there any "easy cash-generators"? Yeah, the chance of Pearl coming back to me is about none. And like you say, I have so many other high priorities.
When you search for Pearl Guitar in the App Store it shows as AppHoldings not sure what that means. I do know that Pearl is my favorite sim for guitar as far as playability goes as well as a very rich acoustic sound. I hope that OM Guitar approaches it's level of playability soon with not too much work. Good luck and will keep fingers crossed.

Hi AmidioInc, Pearl Guitar is awesome, i love it and have been so disappointed by not being able to use it with Audiobus anymore. PLEASE bring it back into the fold if you can and give it some love. Sorry, i don't have any inside track. I've emailed AppHoldings twice to try and get them to update it but no response
@AmidioInc maybe you could buy back Pearl, and either re-sell it with updates like extra chord change buttons or different skins, or add those features as an IAP. I can't speak for everybody, but if the sound and playability stayed the same as the original, I'd buy it again to have it back on the good list. It really was that good.
I really like Pearl Guitar, I have pretty much all the guitar apps (including OMG) but I still like this one the best. Sounds nice and the fretboard feature is unique and useful. Hope something can be worked out, it would be great to see an update.
