DM1 OSX and Logic ProX
Hello,
I wanted to know if it was possible to use dm1 running on OS X on Logic Pro X as a midi drum machine. (basically having it work the same as ultra beat in logic as a program but with dm1 drum sounds) I've exported midi files which works, but haven't been able to export dm1 drum sounds.
Thanks,
David

As far as I know it's not a plugin, so it can't function within Logic. Can't you export songs though, and just import the audio into Logic?
Try one of these

Hi David. I tried running the DM1 from a MIDI track in my setup and had success. I can enter notes on the piano roll and hear the DM1 playing them in real time as I enter them. On playback the DM1 synced up perfectly with the other MIDI tracks in my song who were playing internal synths. I also was able to record the DM1's audio to an audio track in my DAW.
I'm using an iConnect Audio 4 for audio/MIDI in my setup. Ableton Live is my DAW but I'm assuming it would work for Logic too.

Yeah either the interface @mkell424 recommended (I own it as well, it's great), or using Audiomux/Midimux or MusicIO apps, which should do audio/midi pass-through.
So the short answer is yes this should be very possible. Esp. after DM1 just did some updates which seem to have improved its MIDI tremendously.
Try one of these might just work see link
