Cyclop and Core Midi

Hi there, since I've tried using cyclop with just virtual midi (and it didn't work), I thought I let you know, it somehow it does react only to core midi notes...? I work with Noatikl, which gives you the choice of engaging virtual/core -midi seperately. I thought core midi was just for hardware-set-ups, but after a long tearing fight with the Cyclop yesterday I realised the above: it needs core midi turned on. Just so somebody else doesn't have to go through the same hellish day as me (including erasing and redownloading cyclop)... Waaaaah! Hope it helps.

Comments

  • I got Cyclop pretty recently, but I'm 95% sure I tried it with CoreMIDI (Akai MPK25 controller) and it worked with no hassle.

  • Yeah, it works with core midi here, too (with external controllers). What I'm saying is it doesn't seem to work with virtual midi (internally), at least when coming from Noatikl.
