Clip Launching goodness abounds.
That Playground demo was particularly impressive! (was trying to follow what the heck was happening)
Think I can mostly follow along—seems to equate to an awful lot of time programming the sounds and trigger actions. The way some of the main samples change pitch depending which bass note is being held (and dragged) is just kind of staggering. Or the work behind putting it together is. The raising pitch at 0:15 is sort of face melting because 1:13 sounds different. Guessing something at some point changes the state of those two long bars.
@syrupcore that whole demo (watching again) is a facemelt (!) .. I can't tell what is quantizing the notes / making the :15 pitch change etc ....... I feel like a grandparent seeing Grand Theft Auto for the first time . . .
revolutionary stuff
I like the fact that Coldcut and Ninja Tunes are behind this.
see this is what I'm talking about, at the bottom of the description you can see that even wayyyyyy back then Jonatan wasn't playing...... you've got sample import and copy paste........ circa 2010

Truly
Its what drew me into Electrify NXT- and hope that dev will stay on the case
might be a long shot but in the comments section of that cdm article someone says that they asked about sample import and got promising response. It's a positive note...... but I did ask the same question and did get the same answer over a year ago so who knows.... guess I just can't resist keeping sample import faith.
the nxt dev is really staggeringly talented, but has that retronyms aftertaste ...he couldn't even bother to put up his own video of the app after all of that promising from one day to the next....
no matter what happens in the world thank god for Samplr and audioshare and audiobus
I have (nearly) accepted that there won't be any more updates for nxt - I also use it daily. It's so good with outboard stuff like the TE POs... Your YouTube selections give me hope that others are pushing hard on the same ideas. LP-5 is another simpler and stable one, good sample import options, IAA fx, another fun one to clock with outboard gear
