app for cleaning up audio?
Can anyone recommend an app for cleaning up audio artifacts; hiss, plips, plops, farts, buzz, etc.?
I have some field recordings made in a stairwell, where there was a buzz coming from florescent lighting.

Twisted wave free, recording mic apps
come to mind. aufx:push preset expander 2.
Might be a good reason to pull the trigger on the aufx apps.
what I'm really hoping to find is something that works like the subtractive mode in ReaFir (Reaper plugin)
Auria and saturn plug-in preset base-tape 2. and pro-c.
I have no doubt all these fine Auria plug-ins I already own can do the trick, just a matter of user-idiocy, however, Twisted Wave does a pretty good/simple job. Also 'Audition' on the desktop if you really want to get your full Harry Caul on.
... did read. And free Audacity.
Trying to keep it all iOS, if possible
@crzycrs
Don't have the budget for FabFilter right now, but will look into Twisted Wave.
Actually, that's code for I'm still waiting to see what comes of the new Auria before I invest in any plugins for it.
Try the free rec apps.
this is a great trick for editting out clicks
Am thinking the above would prob be possible in other daws too
Hey that's a great technique. Will have to try. Thanks man.
Oldest trick in the book, but didn't know Auria does it. Thank you!
wow, that is a cool trick, gonna need it for sure.
So obvious, so good, thank you Mister Sky.
