So if you were an idiot and forgot to back up your Alchemy IAPs....
... Are you totally screwed now? Put it on the to do list, and then forked it up and forgot to do it

You should be able to restore purchases in Alchemy now - I did it in June with no issues, everything came back.
Whew, so obvious I missed it, thanks working now. Sheer panic for a second there!
@Tarekith, and don't forget to upgrade to iOS 5!!!!!!!!!!
So much for the last person to upgrade from ios7 hehehe
lol
I was laughing when I saw that too.
I miss Mac System 7.
I was able do d/l for my iPhone, but waited on my iPad...I'm upgraded but the d/l's don't work anymore for me. It was working for you @Tarekith?
I was going to noodle with ifunbox to copy, but have t got to it yet...
Most of the soundpacks are available as torrents. Just sayin..
Yes, it worked fine for me for the packs I had previously purchased.
I have all the sound packs on Dropbox if anyone wants them/ needs them?
Me please!
Me too please
I would like to try a couple of these also please dblond.
Isn't this just piracy?
Not if you've already paid for them.
If you have already paid for them they are available to be downloaded from the App Store ....
We get dressed up and we go out, baby, for the night
We come home early burning, burning in some fire fight
I'm sick and tired of you setting me up
Setting me up just to knock-a knock-a knock-a me down
Down, down, down
Slippery slopes an' all....
Not for me. I get this message: "Transaction failed. The transaction failed because the App Store did not recognize the product." @Yendor says above that he wasn't able to download sound libraries, as well.
You can't buy new ones. but you can restore existing purchases.
Restoring is not available for the desktop version as there is no Camel Alchemy page anymore. I bought the OSX version and a number of libraries only 6 months before it was abandoned,. after a computer change over I am missing a couple of paid sound libraries, and have to say I certainly don't consider it to be piracy when they took my money and screwed me. The iOS Alchemy is nowhere near as good the desktop version but at least it would be nice to have some of the presets.
This being the Audiobus forum ie an iOS forum I wasn't talking about the OS X version.
I probably wouldn't describe it as piracy for you to source the ones that you lost in your computer changeover from wherever you can get them.
However Camel did provide a long window of opportunity (January 8 to July 7) and plenty of warnings and instructions on how to access and backup any sound libraries that had been purchased for the desktop version. So I'm not sure you can accuse them of screwing you.
I gave Camel hundreds of dollars for a desktop software synth and reasonably expected many years of support, updates and development, As I recall many iPad users were outraged back in January when they felt they had been cheated with a relatively small investment so I do think I am entitled to feel like I was screwed,
I am well aware that this is a iOS forum and I only shared my own circumstances to point out to you that everything is not so black and white as to be asking if people are contemplating stealing.
Personally i dont care so much about that..
This is not werez. I also paid fully for the complete sound sets. This backup was posted I believe here some time ago and will only work if you have the ability to restore your own paid version. I will not post the link here. It was used initially as a way to still access paid sound packs that could be restored via iTunes before they reappeared lately back in the App Store. You cannot purchase these any longer only restore if you have the full version.
It is true however that you can download from the App Store if you have previously paid for the items you want to restore and download.
Sorry for the confusion if anyone wanted free route to the app, you will have to look also elsewhere for that. I don't want to be banned or flamed for supporting stolen apps, as I do not support werez.
Correct, my iPhone had no problems, but could never get my iPad updated for some reason...they say "downloading" but the progress bar never updates...
