  • Love these solo Gadget vids :)

Particularly on the gadgets I don't use much....oh, and Sir Doug, Cyndi Lauper called and she wants her song back :)

  • What gadget would you like to see next then, please remember that I'm only using the presets for these, mainly for time reasons and I'm hyper lazy

I vote for Chiangmai or Kiev.

  • I'd like to hear Doug getting really nasty with Miami :).

Or any of the others to be honest.

  • Chiangmai was the first gadget I got made to make something me sounding with, but game theory says I should ask you make something intelligible out of something I don't use: So Kingston or Tokyo. Both of which I've spent drunken afternoons in (during days I used to consider that my primary form of legitimate entertainment) and I'd have to give the edge to Tokyo on many levels, but there are girls from Kingston Poly who remain clotted in my heart.

  • I love these series. Oh and I vote for Miami as well.

  • Since I've yet to pull the trigger on iM1, I'd love to see you go nuts with a pure Darwin composition, Doug.

Chicago and Chang Mai would be second and third choices :)

Very cool list. I think we need a forum spreadsheet on this one :)

Firenze is certainly worth a visit (out of tourist season if there is such a thing), but Brussels just for the cheese parcels on the Grand Place deserves to be on your radar...actually, most of those places need to be visited at some point...

  • Oh so much choice, and @JohnnyGoodyear yes that miss Lauper and her ways, it is similar but then again everything I do sounds like it was something from the 80's

  • Not a knock there Sir Doug, I think you nailed that sound is all....

  • No offence taken Lord Goodyear, I figure since I got bumped up to Sir it only right and fitting that you should become a Lord

  • @eustressor I did one of those just after iM1 came out so I've bumped it back to the top on the website. Its a bit more involved too, here is the link.

    Enjoying these Gadget only videos.

Using presets is fine cause it gives us (extra hyper lazy) Gadget owners a good reference of what's possible within the app.

Gadget suggestions: Wolfsburg (Preset 14:Chillwave Pad) , Abu Dhabi, Kiev

Yes, as mentioned, a real going over on Abu Dhabi would be most welcome, but I'm not certain that's 'Let's Compose' friendly. Or that might just be a measure of how little I understand that particular Gadget...

  • No I think your right, it's not that friendly for a quick lets compose but it might work, I'll have a mess with it and see

    Thank you, Doug!

  • Actually, the Marseille video is a great example of "how you use it is more important than what it is." It's an easy one to dismiss as "cheesy" but that quick demo sounds great. It also had the side benefit of talking me down from the im1 ledge!
