MIDI file conversion programs: ACD -> MIDI
How/What do you use or recommend for converting acd. file which contains actual MIDI notes into a MIDI file?
Thank you
Comments
Aren't ACD files audio files?
They are (Acid format). Therefore, the only 'MIDI data' recorded in the file is what was recorded from a MIDI file playing through whatever sound-generating device used, which in short means there is no MIDI data to get. .acd files do hold volume and pan info, but that is probably only relevant to the project files.
Are there any apps for converting itunes AAC to midi?
Midi uses hexadecimal and audio uses binary. Therefore it's not possible. Sorry Kenzoid.
There are various programs that perform analysis on audio files and convert this to midi, with varying degrees of success, Live 9, for instance can convert melody, drums etc.
