Looks like Woojijuice has a DAW in the works?
Or? (this via Palmsounds via tweet: http://www.palmsounds.net/2015/08/a-bit-more-on-new-app-from-wooji-juice.html Woojijuice as in Mitosynth, GrainScience...)

Wooji!! Mitosynth is amazing, looking forward to seeing where this ends up
Looks slick. These guys program very nice apps. This could be a real winner
new tweet from Woojijuice -
"Cuz Ferrite supports iOS 9's iPad split screen, you can open the manual in Safari — while using it. Which is nice "

I appreciate the design of Mitosynth, but find it (at the level of effort I've been prepared to make so far) a little too involved, however still v. interested to see what they do here...
It looks a bit like Hokusai, which he also developed. That's likely to be off-putting to some unless he improves on the elements that annoy folks.
I wonder if the ui/ux snaps quickly as a daw should Or if it is all fadey/soft and animated with the disolves like the visual kitsch of mito.
It'll be interesting to see how much of a V1 it is.....
Looks very 'audio' to me... no sign of any midi tracks in that screen grab...

I checked with Wooji, and midi could be implemented further down, but as the link Goozoon posted shows, it looks more like a tricked out podcast-making app at the moment.
It looks like it might work on the iPhone and iPod, which might be one reason to use it, but otherwise it doesn't look all that interesting compared to the competition.
I am trying to see how this is not just an update to Hokusai- I use Hokusai to build all my tracks- it has basically all the features I need and then some- what I need is a better GUI- but this looks like the same type of GUI-
I often wonder if these apps are developed by non musician's and so cannot understand the needs of musicians fully until we tell them and hope they listen. Hokusai is a good example of this IMO.
Not quite a DAW, which is a shame - it'd be nice to have a bit more choice. Not a fan of their controls on Mitosynth though, a bit too fiddly for my tastes.
Musician or not Wooji knows his stuff

Looks nice, but do I need it when I have Cubasis and Beatmaker 2? I think not.
It might be just a better version of multitrack daw, a simple, non space hog of a multitrack one can record or acp into?
I'd imagine many would find that useful
Wondering what fx and eq it would have...
If it's good I'd acp individual stems from gadget and give it a whirl...
Could be the poor mans Auria pro, and I think those with low budget and lack of space on devices would be most happy with that!
There once was a programmer named Didier who only knew how to code in Delphi. He originally created a MIDI drum machine program for the PC and released it in 1998 (which in computer terms is a thousand years ago). Over the years, this simple drum machine evolved and evolved. The software company that sells it adopted a "does everything but saves the project files" demo system which was unheard of at the time. Everything the software company sells is unlocked by a key file rather than rigmarole of requiring dongles or limiting installation to 3 devices (even non-consecutively). VST support was added, audio tracks were added, and soon it became one of the most popular DAWs for EDM besides Live. This DAW is...

He also created one of the best mastering limiters http://www.image-line.com/plugins/Effects/Maximus/ , one of the best bread-and-butter synths of last decade http://www.image-line.com/plugins/Synths/Sytrus/ , and possibly the best synth of this decade http://www.image-line.com/plugins/Synths/Harmor/ . Fun fact, he's not a musician. :P There you go.
^ When I miss the plus one button. Bob Moog wasn't a musician either. He made a coupla things musicians kind of seem to enjoy.
This isn't a musician's DAW at all—just read the text in the link. I'll include it here:

Yes, all the time just doing pretty much just what he wanted and being rather curmudgeonly with it !
I've been active on the FL forum too
I'm not knocking him - you gotta do what you've got to do, sometimes.
Yah seems like a handy podcast maker for sure.
Your Limerick started well but felt a bit bloated by the end.
Kinda like Fruity Loops.
@Jocphone ha ha. Toooo funny!
Thanks for the heads up Professor. To be honest, and with a number of iOS DAWs due upgrades in the, let's say, the next 12 months, I am more likely to buy this for my podcast duties...look forward etc.
So,it doesn't seem to be much different from MultitTrack DAW or Hokusai?
looks very cool
hope Mito will be on sale that day
I've just got to grips with Mito and WOW.....just WOW
Mito is so smooth and lush. I really dig it.
