Filter Midi notes with the iconnectmidi+4?
Can anyone tell me if this is possible. I know I could sign up for the iconnectivity forums but I thought there would probably be a lot of users here and someone might know.
I want to hook a 16 channel midi sequencer into the midi input and that will send all those channels out.
My problem is some of my hardware responds in omni mode only. So I want to set one of the outputs to only sent one channel (let's say channel 5) out of midi port 2.
Anyone know if this is possible?

Omni mode is what you want and midi out 1 sends channels 1 to 16, while midi out 2 will send channels 17 to 32 this I know.. But I don't have an iConnect and I don't midi up my iPad yet so I best leave it there !
Yeah it can reroute MIDI like that.
MidiFlow can do so as well, if you have the Camera Connection Kit and a USB hub.
Thanks guys, I think your misunderstanding what I'm trying to do. Or I don't get it. I will contact iconnect support.
@MirEko
Short answer is yes - but you need to dedicate one of the midi outs to each Omni device.
I've got an iCM2+, but it's not nearby, but have a look at the manual page 17
(http://www.iconnectivity.com/downloads/manuals/iCM4plus_user_guide_ver1.pdf)
There is an ios app called iConfig which should allow you to assign a certain channel(s) to any of the 5pin outs. I seem to recall there were qwerks to it, but the desktop version of iConfig was a bit easier to navigate.
Good luck
Thanks wigglelights.. That's what I was wanting to know
