Any midi sequencing apps with Elektron-style sequencers?
Hi all,
I've got a bit of a conundrum at the moment. I'm about to trade my Machinedrum for another piece of equipment, but there is one bit of functionality I would really like to retain, and that is the ability to send midi CC on a per-step basis in a sequence. Program changes would be a plus as well, but are not as essential, and I don't even need it to send notes. The reason for this is that I've been exploring using my Machinedrum to sequence my hardware effects. I have a few other Elektron boxes that can do this, but it would be nice to keep those sequencers for sequencing instruments instead. Is there anything out there in iOS that can do this?

I think B-Step Pro does....will check later
O and I think Analog Midi Sequencer does too.
Yep, MIDI Sequencer will do it and adds all manner of interesting things you can do with the sequences themselves https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/midisequencer/id787934896?mt=8 It's meant to be like a traditional analog step sequencer—1 to 16 steps and no song mode. Can store and instantly recall 40 presets per set up though. I believe it can do up to 4 CCs at once.
B-Step does it as well. It does two at once but that might be 8 — I've never quite grokked the 4-sequences-at-once thing in there.
Most of the piano roll style sequencers out there will let you do this as well though perhaps not as step based feeling.
Also, be sure to check out MIDI Flow (I seem to be his marketing department lately). It will allow you to change any incoming midi signal to any outgoing midi signal. So, you could use a simple drum machine app (muted), send the notes to MIDI Flow and have MIDI Flow convert them into whatever CCs you want.
