best app for sending audio from my phone to my ipad i guess from audioshare to audioshare?

Comments

  • Live? Soundcard and a cable. Wifi? Apollo Remote Recorder. Latency. Sharing? Airdrop. In any case Audioshare.

  • Use wifi drive in AudioShare. Enable wifi drive in AudioShare on your phone and use the web browser in AS on your iPad by entering the url that shows up on your phone. Make sure your phone and iPad are on the same network.

  • Dropbox maybe

    dropbox or email

  • I've been using dropbox, but I might try what @anickt posted.

  • Just tried the wifi drive for the first time as mentioned above. Seems to be more practical than email or dropbox for AS to AS.

  • Have Dropbox on both devices

    Upload from phone to Dropbox

Open Dropbox from audio share in iPad and download and save in specific folder

  • You don't need anything but AudioShare on both devices. Works over your local network.

  • I've used Airdrop before. Also Dropbox if you are online.

  • What about live situations? Excluding Apollo because of the latency.

  • I use AudioShare for transferring files between devices (Computers & iOS Devices) over local network using the Wifi-Drive and integrated browser. Saves the upload to DropBox servers which can be slow depending naturally on the speed of the internet connection...

Maybe we'll in some future version AudioShare see integrated sync of folders stored within AudioShare when the devices are on the same network, this would be a pretty welcome addition. AudioShare could as an example 'find' other devices running AudioShare in similarly to how AudioBus Remote finds AudioBus.

It's been a while since AudioShare was updated so we never know what's in store :D

  • How is airdrop so fast? I used to send iphone video to dropbox & then download from there onto my ipad, then i discovered airdrop which transfers 50mb of video in less than ten seconds...

  • I always used AS because AirDrop never worked for me but I just tried it and it worked great.

  • great answers thanks everyone problem solved

  • You can try MyAudioStream, just install on both devices this app and that's it!
