Audiobus Remote and MIDI foot pedal
Hello, a very newbie question here.
Can Audiobus Remote be controlled by an external MIDI foot controller like the FCB1010? I need to be able to control everything with my feet when playing live.
Thanks,
-Eric

No it can't. It would be a little weird too to dedicate a second device to that when you don't even use the screen. But if audiobus had these triggers MIDI mappable on one device that would be very useful.
I'll have an FCB 1010 programmer out in about a week (assuming Apple plays nice). I've been using the FCB with Apollo MIDI over Bluetooth (one of my apps, now free), and an old iPhone -- this lets me send MIDI to the iPad (where the dock port frequently has an Apogee Jam inserted).
Many apps respond to MIDI, so you might be able to get the control you need that way. (And actually, if you have the FCB, and have it programmed, you can just grab Apollo now, and get rolling).
Thanks for the information, Munibeast. One thing I want to do is control things like the new Patterning drum app with my feet.
This sounds very interesting. I have the iFCB Mac app and can program now. I would also be interested in your FCB app so I'll look for it now. I have an Alesis iO4 which lets me have a guitar and MIDI input into my iPad. I have been trying to make a live performance rig with my iPad and FCB but I haven't succeeded at the level I need.
