Need a MIDI router that does this...

I have several synth apps on my iPad 2 and one basic keyboard controller. I would like to be able to create a number of setups that would send program changes to each of these apps by simply selecting a preset from a single app. I know there are several apps that do this, i.e. Midiflow, iMIDI PatchBay, etc. but I would also like to be able to bring any one of the synth apps running to the screen by a single press in order to make real-time adjustments. As an example, changing drawbar settings on my organ app or doing a filter sweep on a synth app. Does anyone know if either of the two MIDI router apps I mentioned have this ability, or is there a different app that would work?

    Midibridge can probably do this. It has some app switching functionality, though I haven't used that component so couldn't comment on any limitations it might have.

    Midiflow doesn't do app switching. Not sure about imidi patchbay.

    Thanks a lot. I looked at Midibridge as well but since it hasn't been updated for a while I was afraid support might be iffy. I'll go look at it again right now. Thanks again.

    If they are hooked up to AudioBus and you have an iPhone 5 or later (for BTLE) get Audiobus Remote and Stompbox. I think these might do it for you. Im just now working out this workflow and it looks promising.

    Midibridge is actually an awesome app. Functionally, it's pretty solid and very stable. From a UI standpoint, it's not the most straightforward router to get your head around (though not that hard, either). But if you need the extra control, it's still the way to go. Even though it hasn't been updated in a while, I've found the author to be 'extremely' responsive on his own forum with any help you might need. Before you decide against it, I'd pose your question to his board and see if you get the answer you're looking for.
