Looking for Vocalist options
Hello, I could use some help with standard vocalist app suggestions.
The end goal I'm working on is to have two stage vocalists running separate, MIDI-controllable vocal processing. I've got my MIDI controller, MIDI Bridge, Audiobus, and Cubasis(as an end point) ready to go. My Ipad Air2 is plugged into a Focusrite iTrack Dock, which has two mic inputs.
Right now, I'm running my signal through Vocalive, where I can switch presets fairly decently. Right now I'm ready to begin integrating our second vocalist, and I'd like to accomplish as much vocal fx on her chain as I have on mine. But I'm having a really, really hard time finding a second vocal app that's similarly geared toward standard(!) vocal processing(not looping!), has good MIDI control & preset switching, and has some FX control/variability.
I've spent an incredible amount of time, over months, looking for alternatives that fit the role well, and I haven't found anything to compete with VocaLive(which itself is full of flaws in it's role). It seems to be the only program occupying the 'standard vocalist' niche, which I find incredible, since iOS processing is well suited for this role. I MUST be missing something.
Anyone have ideas?
On the side, I'm also looking to add a separate app to handle delay. It needs MIDI control, including a BPM tap. Gotta get those timed delays. VocaLive can't do it. Suggestions?
Thank you!

The answer to your first problem is to install a second copy of Vocal Live on your iPad, you can do this by buying the iPhone version and then you can run that simultaneously to the iPad version in a second Audiobus chain.
For the delay I would recommend AUFX dub.
@MOK Would add the 'Timeless' plug-in for delay also, but it is an Auria-native....there are a number of options. I also like FLUX:FX a lot.....
He might be pushing his limit on CPU at this point and Timeless2 is one heavy mofo sometimes.
Damn. I should look into the AUFX stuff.
Thanks guys. These all have a bpm tap that I can use via a MIDI binding? I'll check it out.
As for CPU, I'm actually doing okay so far, and am probably going to scale back some of processing.
Someone mentioned Auria... I haven't really looked at that yet. How does it hold up as a hub for a live vocalist? Are all the FX controls able to be bound to MIDI?
The goal of my setup is to never have to touch the ipad during gigs, as I swap presets and punch in timed delays.
I record 88% of my vocals thru the (free) Frobulator, might look into sticking it somewhere in yr chain.
