Guitar Toolkit free for now.

Agile Partners' Guitar Toolkit is free. Its my goto guitar toolkit and the only guitar app like it I currently keep on my iPad. Use it pretty much daily, mainly for the drum track based metronome, but use the other tools as well, but not as often. All are as good or better than the other guitar utility/chord/tuner/arpeggio apps, pretty much best of breed IMHO. Agile Partners marketing spam can get tiring as times, it used to pretty bad but it seems have lessened the last few months. Main reason rarely use AmpKIt is I'm of daily spam for crap I already have.

  • Can this be used with AudioBus?

  • Free to a degree. 11.99 euro to unlock. Just looked it up on the store.

  • Don't think so. The drum metronome is pretty simple, 1 single 2-bar pattern. It does play chords and guitar chord progressions you can create with both supplied and custom created guitarish stringed instruments. Its a teaching tool, not a music creation tool. But while they are great for guitar utilities apps, I much prefer something like ChordPolyPad, my favorite and other similar dedicated apps for for generating chords, arpeggios and such.

Probably should have been clearer, its a Guitar Utilities app thats awesome as a tuner, metronome, to learn or look up scales, chords and arpeggios or create and play simple chord progressions.

    Sorry for the confusion.

There are some strange IAPs in the list tonight, one called 70% off Unlock all $2.99, another called 50% unlock all $5.99. Very confusing and I can't see any in the app since I've already got the unlock all just so I could edit and create my own metronome tracks. It had a ton of free stuff and I used it for almost 2 years before I got the unlock all a few months ago.

  • I was offered this
    Where is 70% ?

  • Love the chord sheets. You can use GT to use harmonizations of the first chord you select to build the chord sheets too.

  • Yeah I was hoping to record the chord sheets being played to make some effected loops with AB or AudioShare

  • I don't know of any way to record the audio.

It's a shame....so much quicker than setting up ChordPolyPad to do the same thing.

  • I really like the ability to create custom tuned guitars then see the chord voicings adapt to the new tuning. Very useful, but yes, their marketing and pricing offers are usually confusing and rather off-putting, I think.

  • AB would really be a good add for this one. Longer presses on the chords allow them to ring out longer, so you can get some interesting rhythms going.
