Auria Mixing and Mastering Questions
Might be a good place to hold questions specifically about mixing / mastering in Auria.
First stupid question..
Do the 2 Aux effect goes in series?
E.g. Does Aux 1 take place first, then Aux 2?
So i'd want to put delay in the Aux 1 slot and reverb in the Aux 2 slot presumably? (assuming i want delay > reverb that way round).
Comments
Not a stupid question at all. But no, not in series. You'll be able to do that in auria pro though because you can send to a bus, which then has inserts where you put your effects. That's why I've made comments about being excited for flexible routing.
Right now, your reverb and delay,if on separate sends, will be blended together at the master output. If you want them in series now you'd have to put then as inserts on the track itself and use the wet dry controls.
Thanks so much.
So do you think what i'm doing now is gonna sound weird? (Don't ask me to tell by listening!) Or is that what everyone generally does?
I think that's how most people use sends, so you should be fine. What does this have to do with mastering though?
Thanks. @Tarekith
Mixing, really. Sorry. I'll change the thread title.
No worries, I was just curious
Yep. Are you signed up for the beta program? I think we're coming at it from very similar perspectives so there's little need to have us both
