Is there an app that can browse the web and play inline midi files?

You, know, just like the old days?

I want to audition midi files online without having to download them and play them in another app.

    Hiya John,
    There aren't many sites that offer midi auditioning. I was able to use the web browser within AudioShare and audition midi tunes from www.hittraxmidi.com. Most midi sites require a download.... *.mid files are quite small anyway.

    I sorta disagree. You can google and find .mid's floating loose in directories all over the interwebs.

    Mac OS used to support clicking on, and playing midi files. Now, there's a really kludge-y workaround.

    I don't object to file size or download time... I don't like the tedium of back-and-forth between two different apps.
