Air2 8.4.1 Apps keep going to sleep...
Is there an update coming? Can't use Audiobus since 8.4.1update. Apps keep going to sleep when switching around...

Yep same setup for me and same issues.
I was playing live yesterday and both Thumbjam and Drumjam were dropping their audio. Even when loading from a preset state , I would have to close and open them numerous times . Very frustrating.

Ugh, that's joyous. Are they sleeping, or crashing? (those adventurous souls can tell which is which by seeing if there are any crash logs for those apps saved at the time the sleep-or-maybe-crash happened - here's how to find crash logs)

Yeah, sleeping. It just happened with animoog; went to sleep and I had to eject it from AB and re-insert it. Working flawless now, though.
I'm using AB remote with it. not sure if it has happened for me without remote running
Magellan is solid. So is Impaktor.Voice Jam Studio seems good also. Yesterday I was running these and Thumb Jam through Turnado and Drum Jam as well in a Live setting.All on different AB paths . Wasn't sure if it was turnado that crashed but once I deleted it TJ came back. It's a bit of a juggle but , honestly , what is worse than no sound is the real loud digital hum that happens if ya try and load some apps on the fly.

I'm having trouble reproducing this on my end - I just had our sample app running in the input slot (speaker in output slot) for half an hour or so without issue. Is there a particular sequence of events that causes this sleepytime?
How about loopy in the output stream 1 2 3 4 and loopy on the input of stream 5 (speaker in output) This is my default template...mic inputs on 1 2 3 4 ICA4... no remote app over here...

just launched a preset with 5 apps in series. I noticed that the first two apps gave a busy message, briefly, when initializing all the apps, then later they both went to sleep, though only for a brief moment
Hmm, okay, I've tried a similar rig, @Deb - but just with the iPad sitting doing its thing from the Audiobus main screen. Is there anything I need to do to make it happen? You mentioned switching - any particular from/to combinations?
