Free Yamaha Instruments (Non-Ios)
More for your desktop PC or MAC but Yamaha have released sampled instruments (using the free Beat Zampler host) with these classic synths featured:
CS80
CS40M
DX1 and DX5 (which were like 2 DX7's latered together!).

Looks like it is based on soundfonts so it may be possible to transfer them to IOS using bs-16i but I have not tried that yet.
Comments
The title made me wish that Yamaha would have finally released a new virtual iOS synth, a hybrid based on AN/DX/VL/PF/XG. But guess ~1.3GB of sfz soundfonts will make some people happy
Nice, thanks for posting!
Great, thanks @PhilW
Lovely find.
However not sound fonts but vst instrument.
All samples included are .wav files.
Thanks
I have changed the title to clarify that it is non-IOS.
Sadly, this will not work on OS X 64 bit, only on Windows.
I just unpacked the CS80 zip archive and besides .wav files there are .sfz files inside, which you can easily convert into .sf2 using a free cross-platform tool called Polyphone and then load into bs-16i
There are other samplers that can work with .sfz files on OS X:

@yug
Well spotted. That's even better.
Thanks for the correction.
Thanks for the tip, @yug
Awesome, thanks @yug
I am computerless at this time. I know it's a big ask and maybe not possible, but could someone make a download for bs 16i for those of us that only have an iPad ?
