Vibraphone app?
An obscure request I know, but can anyone recommend me the best vibraphone app available? I need something that is as close-sounding and operating as a real vibraphone (I want to use it with a Malletkat controller). The closest I've found are the vibraphones as part of Sampletank, but the sound-quality is not that great. Isymphonic and WI orchestra don't have anything flexible enough, and specific 'mallet-based' apps are limited, some with two and a half octaves for example, so no good. Any hidden gems people can direct me to?

Music Studio has a Vibraphone but I'm not sure how it would compare to Sampletank's sound. I have used a vibe sound in BeatHawk that I liked a lot, not sure what sound pack it is in, though.
Mello maybe? I like that one. There's also vibes in ThumbJam
I fiound the BeatHawk vibe sound:: it's in the EDM Factory pack, and it's called:
Bel House Vibe.
@firejan82 -- so right! ThumbJam should be the default/first answer for these types of questions.
Thanks for the input. Thumbjam looks the most promising, vibraphone isn't listed as on of the 40 original instruments, but I assume it is one of the downloads mentioned?
In terms of an effective vibraphone sound, you need to be able to adjust the tremolo effect that gives vibes its distinctive 'wah wah' effect, is this possible on Thumbjam at all?
Also, as with a piano, vibraphones work using an 'on off' sustain pedal, is this an option with Thumbjam? Sampletank allows you to do both of these things, it's just that the core samples are not that good.
Any other options besides the ones mentioned?
Holderness's Johnny surely can tremolo those vibes...
Thumbjam has a lot of options in the edit section - so you should be able to change the length of the sample. You can also set the options for vibrato and other effects, and if you need more you can route it through effects via Audiobus.
Thumbjam would be the one for me, the control and sample quality is great.
There is no auto-tremolo in ThumbJam (but you can use the accelerometer), so you can use external effects as mentioned before. You can use a sustain pedal, and if you want the default release to be shorter (when sustain pedal is up) you'll need to adjust the release time under Edit->Sample and save it as a new preset.
The current vibes samples downloadable in TJ are not velocity layered, but hopefully I'll be acquiring a new set in the future that are. It's worth a try, and perhaps you'll find some other sounds and features that make the purchase worthwhile anyway
Well, velocity layered is really a prerequisite for genuine vibraphone playing, single layered is too restricting. Other specs sound okay, so may look into Thumbjam.
Any other late options?
