BeatMaker 2 keyboard

Is it just my stupidity, or is there no way to save where you position the keyboard in BeatMaker2?
It's driving me nuts! Any time I change anything, I have to then change the keyboard positioning for the upper and lower keyboard again. As I need a new 5 pin din to iPad converter, I'm stuck with using the on screen keyboard!

Yeah it doesn't work well, unless you have a real keyboard plugged in

Only other I can suggest if using another virtual keyboard, that will save the state or could be saved as a preset?
Yep relying on our old friend midi now...just slows the ideas down with more setting up and app switching, but hey that's the iPad down side at the mo.
