I think that’s what happens when you turn off the two reset buttons in the Scale menu?
If you want only one, I’d also say Fundamental Elements. Synth Anatomy published demos for all packs:

Fundamental for sure
Just unlocked. So are their no preset folders? Just all the presets in one big list?
You use the tags in place of folders, it's better because a preset can have different tags
I wouldn't say its better. Better is having a mix of 'main' folders in which assets live that have tags. Which are called groups in Animoog Z.
But in this case a user can't make any groups.
Tags are great for preset searching.
But saved or created presets just have to be in Bass, Keys etc and ready to go.
It takes twice the amount of time to use tags to recall user presets.
And just having favorites would work of a user could create groups.
So Animoog needs custom groups for organization.
Also animoog needs a setting so that it will default on User presets on launch.
Currently keeps resetting the view.
Does anyone has any luck with migrating presets/timbres using the latest update?
( with the drag zipped presets from files app feature )
Seems to crash every time when i add the zip files.
It don’t need anything, it’s near perfect
Perhaps origin point modulation
Gotcha. Yea I did notice the tags. That will work. I have to import all my Animoog patches and timbres, so I wanted to make sure. Thanks.
I do have to second that both would be good for file management purposes.
An addition:
I have been exploring the whole weekend and today how to extract single waves at sample accuracy (1024 samples) from sound sources.
I tried several (free) programs to get the right workflow, but none got me what i want. I even tried to use Bitwig and Ableton in my workflow and Ableton was able to stretch a single waveform, but only at time format.
Tonight I tried Audacity. What surprised me, is the fact that you can set measurement at sample count, and it can stretch a selected waveform from, lets say 600 samples, to 1024 samples!
That way, i can select 16 waveforms from a sample file and place them in a new file, with 1024 sample length for each waveform, so it fit exactly in a Timbre for Animoog.
You can do it in Auria, even in the non-Pro version.
Tap in the top right corner to set your time format to samples:
Then you can zoom in on the timeline. Here I have placed the playhead at 1024 samples (as you can see from the reading in the top right) and used it to trim the audio on the timeline:
Then just select the trimmed audio and from the Edit Menu choose "Loop To Selection" then export the audio between the locators as a 16bit Mono file:
Are there any good walkthroughs of these processes anywhere? - I'm wanting to convert the raucous samples from my homemade oscillators into wavetables that can be loaded anywhere - I can see how to do a single cycle easily enough, but to get hundreds of them lined up one after the other, each stretched to the same length seems like such an epic amount of mouseclicks that there must be a semi automated way to get there...
Would love this
SCW & Wavetable creation tools (for desktop, not iOS; some are ancient but worth it if you have an old 32-bit PC):
Didn’t know we could use Auria for this so thanks for that info @richardyot
Maybe not available in the mod tab, but you can modulate AU parameters origin x, y, and z in AUM.
If you draw the orbit as a path, you should be able to use a free LFO to modulate where on the path notes start.
My pleasure. 😀
Thanks for discussing the Timbre Editor flow.
We see that you're looking for external tools to cut to 1024 sample length. We just want to make sure you're doing this on purpose using an external application. Animoog Z can import any WAV file and extract the proper size in multiples of 1024 from the audio, with sample-level accuracy. It's even possible to pan to find zero crossings, the adjust gain and to normalize. If this is not sufficient for importing external audio, we would like to understand what is missing so that we can evaluate how to improve the Timbre Editor.
Detailed information about the features of the Timbre Editor and how to use them can be found in the manual here:

Yes I used the update and the draw and drop import went well...
thank you Moog
I'm using a iPad Pro 2020 latest version of IOS
Being a total noob at 1024 stuff I just sang into the timbre window or imported wavs and it just worked. Was wondering about the need for all these editors 🙃
Now that we’re here, in timbre-for-dummies time. If I record my voice as a timbre , a simple “ahhh”, when played back it sounds totally different, it instantly sounds like Animoog. It’s filtered, with heaps of harmonics. What goes on behind the scenes?.
Thanks for this, I didn't realise it was possible to create timbres directly in the app.
Timbres are a series of 1024 single-cycle waveforms. They are wave tables. They will have some of the timbral qualities of the source but won’t be identical because there is a lot less information in those wavetables than in the original sample. Also, because the singke-cycles repeat, harmonics that were one-offs in the original repeat and become overtones.
Hey so just checking in with a few questions:
1: Does anyone else have the problem where if you open an AUM session with Animoog Z loaded, my midi controller won't trigger noise unless I close and reopen Animoog Z? I'm not able to build preset jam sessions with multiple midi channels programmed over different synth instances and this is a bit game-breaking at the moment.
2: Is there a way to save pitch bend settings and channel pressure settings and such? Every time I close and reopen Animoog Z (which currently is all fuckin time lol) I need to redo my settings so pitchbend is mpe and 24 semitones and channel pressure is re-enabled.
3: Are midi cc values only set in the mod section? Is there a way to double click any parameter and set it to whatever cc I want, ala Volt?
Anybody had any success recording live hardware timbres?. I tried doing a simple saw and square wave with my Take 5 and they weren’t what I would call usable. Very thin and tinny, and unrecognizable.
Have you tried recording your vocal?. Might be the same sound I’m referring to. Very filtered. I guess it’s what @espiegel123 is describing…
Yeah, surprisingly, my “woohoo” was way more usable than the aforementioned straight saw/pulse waves, which were both tinny and had back and forth silence in them, even after normalizing. I’m not expecting wonders here but I know it can do better than what I’m getting. Recording at 46.875 hz can’t be that important can it?
