Interesting. Have you tried the Pigtronix Mothership 2? At a different price range, I'd find it hard to believe that Roxsyn can hold up to the SonicSmith Squaver or ConVertor ... but I've only seen vidz of them and read about in the forums.

I was looking at the description and it can’t read DRM content (explicitly mentions Kindle books). You can use the ios screen reader in a pinch though it doesn’t sound so great.

It’s possible with a bit of initial setup. Requires using an older version of the Kindle app on desktop, set to not auto-update, and then use the Calibre app to convert to ePub, which Voice Dream Reader supports.

The default shortcut in the Shortcuts app is a “gif maker”, which is handy, but I agree that the absence of a fully featured native app is insane.

I guess that Apple are aware of the fact that you can find loads of free ready-made animated gifs online.

There might be other workarounds too if you look online. I use an ebook management software called Calibre to remove the DRM from books I buy from google so that I can use them on voice dream reader. Maybe there is a way to do the same for amazon stuff .

True they have that clips app but still not built in…
