    @tonappas I must shamefully admit that I have yet to play much with Capo+. Nothing to do with the app, which I bought on the positive reactions hereabouts. It's in my 'Really looking forward to it when I get ten minutes' folder.

    In mitigation I spent much of the past two weeks with visitors from Oslo who were fantastic in every respect, but only needed two hours sleep a night, wanted to swim in Barton Springs when it was forty degrees, and insisted on drinking Akvavit with every meal.

    I have long been planning a trip to Iceland, but whenever that finally happens I'm definitely stopping to see them in Norway also :) HNY!

    I tried it last night, despite buying it some time ago. All the chord diagrams are back to front. The thick strings and thin strings are the wrong way round. I can't read the instructions, the type is too small despite the iPad text size being set to a comfortably readable size rather than the tiny default. I gave up after a minute or so.

    @u0421793 well, just between us, I'm guessing you've got a problem at your end. On an Air/8 etc (and this from a somewhat short-sighted badger) I see everything well and in good proportion, including the help.

    Highly technical assessment: It's lovely.

    I often think that any app's strength in places mirrors our own weaknesses, or we find particular pleasure or value when things we're, well, shit at, suddenly are made available to us. My understanding of theory in general and grasp of chord progressions etc is worse than my non-existent Bulgarian, but this is a very intuitive way of experimenting and writing.

    Would have liked more guitar-sound options than the two I could find, but was very happy that the effects (delay, reverb etc), as well as the panning, could be applied per string. But about 10 seconds after deciding I'd like more sounds I had it playing Sunrizer and 10 seconds after that booming out Korg Module's Cinematic Piano and that was that, I was off....

    Always very interested in what any app can do in theory, what it's 'book' capabilities are, but -knowing my short attention span and basic ignorance level- I'm more taken with how long it takes me to start wanting to use something to do something.

    And, yeah, I know I'm just scratching the surface (sic), but very good and immediately so....
