This little AUv3 plugin packs a whole lot of 80's synth sound goodness with VHS yum yum backed into it. If youre into synthwave then you have to check this one out. Good stuff. I can imagine working this into some lofi house which is next on my list of genres to try out.
That’s what I’ll be doing next, experimenting with VHS tape and the other types of genres that I make. I do currently work on a lot of cyberpunk so it won’t be to hard to get it to fit there. But some other stuff like dubstep and maybe som lo-fi hip hop.
It’s a pretty nifty synth. Did a quick demo with Fugue and 4 instances of VHS Synth and I dig it.
This is a very inspiring instrument and your presets are really good jaKoB!

Oh sod it. Audiokit synths have never worked properly for me but if I can listen to a few Haq presets I’ll buy the bloody thing… bought!

The VCR sounds are hilarious.
The VHS Synth app is very inspiring. The sounds are very nice. I made a short and simple track. Drums and bass are from Garageband, all other 11 sounds are from VHS Synth including VCR sounds at the begining

Anyone using it on an old Air2? Curious about cpu usage and number of instances
I got this one...
4 AUv3 instances in Drambo (Beta) with ~3-6 notes poly in each instances no sweat, iPad Air 2, iPadOS15.4.1.
It worked fine without hick-ups with Drambo's buffer set to 512 and the app & host stayed responsive.
It guess it depends on how much polyphony you push...
