    Life is crazy, many many years ago I had a half 2 track reel to reel that started doing this to whatever I played on it and I figured it’s time to stop using it….now we’re doing it on purpose, go figure, 😂

    It's irony at its best, when there's no reasonable way left to improve the quality of the recordings it's time to degrade them instead. Guess the next step after lo-fi is extreme over use of aural exciters and other enhancers to 'recover' a degraded signal :sunglasses:

    I don’t want to be negative about free stuff and thank you for very much, but I don’t really get the euforisch responses, like something completely new has landed. Don’t we already have this fx in multiple tape sim apps, like the 2 great free ones which are been around for a while: Tape Cassette & Chow (WOW fx). Chow has even a sync option and 4 different setting sliders.

    Yeah, Chow blows this out of the water, it’s still a nice free app though, I guess, and pretty, lol

    Anyone have problems with the speed setting getting stuck? You drag the screen in the middle up or down and occasionally the speed value just won’t change? I tried it in standalone and the issue also happened there, so it’s not the daw/host causing it.
