This is a collaboration featuring myself (Colin Powell), Brendan Perkins and Helen Flunder, 3 regular members of the Chat Room of The Prog Mill Radio Show on Progzilla Radio, plus a little help from AI.

It carries an important, very contemporary message.

The Path to Peace

In the shadowed halls of power,
Where secrets weave their darkened threads,
Nations clash like titans, hour by hour,
And the drums of war beat louder in our heads.

The winds of change whisper tales of strife,
Their rhetoric igniting flames of life,
As leaders dance upon the razor's edge,
While innocents tremble on the crumbling ledge.

Echoes of tomorrow, haunting our dreams,
A symphony of chaos, tearing at the seams.
We see the sights, we hear the screams
All this senseless violence, we wonder what it means

With false negotiations and transfer of the blame,

    The Path to Peace… great track. Some lovely Chris Squire sounding bass and excellent guitar playing.
    A New Beginning… the female (AI) vocals reminded me of something but for the life of me can’t think of what 🤔
    A New Beginning (Alternative Mix)… much preferred this version. Put me in mind of early Strawbs I.e. Grave New World and Dave Cousins.

    Thanks, @GeoTony - the bass on The Path to Peace is played by Rickenbacker master, Brendan Perkins!
    The more I hear the AI version the less I like it! I do prefer my own vocals now (it must have been an off day when I decided to use the AI instead of my original vocals!). I will certainly take a comparison to Dave Cousins and Strawbs! Grave New World is one of my favourite albums of theirs!
