How would I go about setting up a more intelligent bass/piano split in AUM like this?
I’ve done the basic bass/piano splits where you set a split point, all notes below are bass, notes above are piano. What I would rather have to open the whole keyboard back up to piano sound, but still have a bass on the bottom is this - always the bottom played note sounding on the keyboard is bass and everything else above is piano, so I can still play piano lower than say at a set point. Also still have a top point set so a bass sound would not sound say above middle C. Is something like this possible in AUM using pianoteq and another app for the bass sound?
Like if I played a C chord, in any lower octave, the bottom note would be bass, the notes above piano.

The easiest solution in AUM is to adjust the “Note Range” values per instrument so it only renders notes
it is configured to play. In PianoTeq, change the velocity curve so it gradually falls off as the notes go
deeper into the bass range.
Now the idea of a chord where the lowest note is detected and set to the bass and the eremaining notes somewhere
else… that’s a Mozaic script type of request that has already been solved by @_ki.

This one you would parallel route to pick off the bass note. Though it would still be sounded in both routings, you could transpose the bass one in the midi coming from the script. That way you get your played chord with an added bass note.
Thank you so much @McD and @wim . Looks like Mozaic script is going to be the answer. I will look into using that when I get back home today. I’ve never use a mozaic script before.
When I play something with a walking bass, I’d like to be able to drop the piano down lower too and still have that bass sound at the bottom, like when playing something like this quick test midi attached. I’ll look into Mozaic today. Thanks guys!
