Question about midi sources start/stop
I'm sure this is just bc I'm new to much of this, but can someone clarify if there is a way to trigger a midi source to start/stop in LP, other than if that midi plugin itself accepts midi in to explicitly trigger it.
I have the Midi source setup in the LP mixer and I see how I can mute/unmute the midi source plugin at certain times, but I want to have this midi source start to "play" it's midi when I start playing a specific play group within LP (which I do by pressing an LP button).
Thanks

You will need to be more specific about the midi device or plugin and situation.
I've got JustChords auv3 instance to send midi chords to couple other plugin destinations in LP.
In this case, I'd like to have a way from LP to control when I tell JustChords to start and stop, since I don't always want JustChords to start sending it's midi chords concurrent with when I hit play in LP, so not sure if that can be done from LP with midi clock or something else.
Thanks
That would be a matter of whether justchords provides controls for that . Check its manual
