Enjoyed the journey this track took me on. Well done, @Slush 🙏🏽

    Hey thanks!

I like that one a lot. Very well done and fun to listen to.

From the track title I was expecting it to glitch out and quit altogether in the middle of the track like the DOS / Windows command does. 😉

  • The hypnotic factor of your tracks usually work very well (on me). This one is no exception ! Being in a phase listening regularly to Jon Hopkins and James Holden, this track complement very well. Great job as usual !

  • @wim @JanKun Thanks brothers, appreciated!

  • This is SO good @Slush

Only if you care to share: what did you use to make it?

Thanks! For the percussion part I used a hodgepodge of Korg Recife, Sitala, Playbeat and Motto Akemie. Ruismaker Noir (also for sequencing), Octachron. The synth is Lagrange, both the atmospheric part and the pluck. Fx, eq, lots of this and that to finish it. Apematrix is my host where I program and record the whole chebang, these stems are imported into Cubasis for mastering.

    Ruismaker 🤘🏽

Do you still use Morphit? Also did you end up trying out Spacesitter?

Yes, Morphit is great now we have the speaker and mono checking. I don’t know what Spacesitter is?

Sorry I guess that’s what autocorrect chose to go with and I didn’t double check! Supersittter*

Oh, that one. I heard the demos from other members but could hardly tell anything interesting going on there :#

Thanks for detailing! I’m picturing all that as physical and it’d be quite the hardware (or modular) rig. Very impressive that you’ve got that much iOS working in conjunction and even more so that it feels so cohesive and nuanced.

    Ahh fair enough!

I tried reaching out to the Morphit guy but his contact form on Toneboosters site won’t get past a certain point. Any idea how to reach them? My headphones aren’t on the list 😅

Thanks again. I do a lot of jams and a throw away most because I think it sucks. Even though I believe techno should be raw, low profile and not too slick I still have lots to learn and always open for critique how to make things better :)

  • Nice slab of techno. The variations are subtle, but keep the track going. Sounds pretty huge on AirPods :-)
