connecting metosynth to logic pro?

Hi everyone, hope you're doing well and staying safe 😊 As many of you may remember, I'm totally blind. I'm currently running Logic Pro on an iPad Mini 6 with iOS 18.5. I also have wood juse metosynth which is accessible. My question is this, how do I connect metosynth to Logic Pro so I can both step sequence meetsynth and record its audio in to Logic Pro?

Thank you very much for your kind help in advance everyone 😊

  • You can't connect Mitosynth in Logic because it's not AuV3 and Logic does not accept IAA as many other apps (AUM, Cubasis etc) do.

There is a workaround if you buy another app which I can't recall the name of, run that and Mitosynth in e.g AUM and you should (allegedly) be able to connect it to Logic.

I suspect, @Pxlhg, you mean the loopback part of this bundle:

    https://apps.apple.com/de/app/kq-voice-plugins/id6450491216

    Loopback (In/Out/MIDI/Mixer):

    From the AppStore:

Connects to each other and transfers audio between host applications. MIDI signals can also be transferred. Please note that you might not do the recording inter app.

(Don't know about that last sentence).

I would put the IAA app into loopy pro (AUM or Audiobus should also work) put the loopback send in the FX slot of the synth.

Then put the loopback return into logic and record the audio there (no guarantees, however).

(Edit: forgot to paste the link)
