Genopatch is not available in the synplant demo
Moog Mariana is on special right now for $29 USD for Mac.
No brainer!
Where did you see it for $29? It’s $39 everywhere I’ve looked…
This approach takes all the fun out of researching and buying new things, but a musician who is skilled in using the included synths in Logic Pro should be able to conjure up enough sounds to never need anything else.
(Not claiming that I take this approach, but sometimes wonder if it would've been the best way to go)
That’s why I picked up Synplant. It’s quirky design and ability to replicate synth sounds give it a weird game/tool hybrid feel. Seems like a good way to learn a bit of synth design.
I’m gonna see where Synplant, Alchemy, and Polyverse plugins get me for now. It’s pretty easy to run synths on my iPad into Logic using IDAM for my iOS staples.
I second Usual Suspect's free synths. One of my all-time favorites is still NI Massive. It's warm and smooth with vintage analog-type tones, and easy to use. It's $20 when it goes on sale. Plus you get Alchemy with Logic Pro too, right? That's a favorite of mine too.
I just checked the Moog website and I guess I was wrong. It is on sale for $39, down from the usual $99. To me, it was a no-brainer!
