It’s all explained @ loopypro.com/pricing, and on the App Store page and in the purchase screen in the app
So , in the App Store, there's a blue "update" button next to Loopy Pro - if I click that, will I receive the update and then be given the option to pay once the 7 day trial is up? Or will clicking on "update" now buy it immediately?
Congrats on the release!
Absolutely, @espiegel123 doing an amazing job answering Loopy related Qs, hats off
Yaaay, Happy 2.0 birthday!
Just checked my emails because I haven't been around for a long time due to my studies and forgot my login details. Found emails about talking about features and whatnot from 2021.... Loopy Pro has come a long way and the recent teasers made me come back to see what's going on here.
Keep it up Michael and take care
The former. You won't pay anything if you hit the blue update button in the App Store. It's just like any other app update. The feature update will be an IAP you can find under the "hamburger" menu in the app.
Great, cheers Mike
Like others have said, thank you @espiegel123 for answering at any hour, as if you were living in all the time zones.
Anyway I've been waiting for this update for so long and now that it's here, I mustn't update because of upcoming shows 💀
Amazing! Thank you so much!
Proud of you Michael.
I love how well you and your company has been received over these years.
You rock.
Yeah, sorry for omitting @espiegel123 in my previous comment. You deserve all the praise as well. Never have I encountered such a dedicated resource person. And I guess @wim deserves a shout out as well. From my understanding not part of the team per se, but very close to as a moderator. Always taking the time to help others. Much love to you all
Really enjoyed the conversation with DubFX. Dude is a BEAST!
so are you.
Confession. I struggled with LoopyPro and recently getting it. Thank you for a fun and awesome tool. Even if I just mess around 🫡
If you have struggled with it in the past, spend some time with each of the tutorial projects in the sample projects folder and also the other sample projects. They may help.
Major congrats on the release 🎉🎉
Can't wait to see what the masses do with all the new features. There's been amazing pocs shown so far in the recent beta showcases!!
Got a few little concepts I've been cobbling together too! (...hell, I hadn't caught the polyphonic oneshot playback [soooo many updates features] until the other day on Jacks video. Just a few moments ago that popped a huge idea. Brain explosions... Loopy tends to do that lol)
@Michael what a beautiful contribution you've birthed and nurtured... This truly feels like a birthday party for a friend's kid becoming a teenager -- ya done good, my man! They're growing up well and healthy, good-natured, and have a solid head on their shoulders
You know your jobs not done, but you've got a hell of a showing that you know what you're doing
And I'd be remiss for not pointing out the Joey and Jessy in the Full Loopy House scenario, @wim and @espiegel123 (you get to fight over who's who) - thanks for the insane levels of Metatron for @Michael you've provided in the forums and discord
It probably goes without saying (and I'm certain big M would agree), the community and project itself could not flourish as vibrantly without everything you guys have done (unbound knowledge, graceful answering questions found in the manual... Or an intro tooltip, and practically constant coverage of fielding all that on the Internet where time means nothing)
And there's too many additional names of who makes this forum such a delightful (calm and collected, while being confidently informational and consistently inspirational) home
One major milestone done, many more to come!
Now, my only decision... Do I copy and paste this wall of text eight times in a row just for the joke....... 😈
MIDI loops? Piano roll editing? I’m in!
Monumental upgrade! Congrats! 🤩
Congrats, man
❤️
Congrats, @Michael !
How? It's a work of art.
It's a tool, but so much more.... how do you even begin to think of what needs to be done to execute on such a flexible, customizable piece of software? Whiteboards all the way to the outback?
Love for you to talk about this a bit somewhere.
Thanks though!
Thank you so much for your kind words, everyone, I’m very touched! ❤️
Funny you should mention it, Inbar is planning on doing this shortly!
Yeah, she’s amazing. I absolutely adore her. She probably will at some point.
I've discovered her recently, and I'm totally addicted to her smile 😁... I've also ordered my first musical spoons 😎.
Inby is SO amazingly talented and still accessible 😻
That's sooo cool!! Inby was my intro into Loopy Pro a bit over 3 yrs ago (a year before I was able to get an iPad/first iOS device) and been following em since!
In fact, I picked up and learned the asalato thanks to their vids! Picked up a starter plastic set... then soon after, a silent cork practice set 😅
Seeing the included Inby example templates, them being the face talking about a loopy giveaway on the official channel, and now working towards an interview with The Man, The Loop, The Legend® himself...
I said it on YouTube, I'll say it here
I LOVE TO SEE GOOD PEOPLE WORKING WITH GOOD PEOPLE*
❤️❤️
(*I've seen it happen consistently since I've been in the forums... A keystone tennent as to why I stick around 😄
Just gotta yell it out loud sometimes, ya know?)
❤️
The interview with DubFX is absolutely amazing. Super interesting, he shares an enormous amount of very interesting info about live performance, poduction and critical technical considerations. Loved it!!!
I don't think I've ever sat all the way through a YouTube video longer than 20 minutes. I watched the whole Dub FX thing in one sitting and would still be up for a sequel. Great stuff!
