A plea from a stupid old man
I’ve just updated for the first time in a couple of years. I bought Loopy Pro because I wanted to support Michael, but I’m a fan of midi, so I never really used it. Now, suddenly, I’m back and looking at this vast landscape of possibility, and I feel pretty overwhelmed. Of course, I will be watching YouTube videos, But I have a possibly stupid question. Has anyone made a simple template that a basic user can download? Something with four midi tracks and four audio tracks ready to go?
Or is this the easiest thing in the world and I should just get on and do it myself? I only ask from bitter experience, where I’ve set aside some time to do something on an app, got frustrated during the first 30 minutes, and found myself watching YouTube instead of making music.
What an app, though! I remember it back in the days when it was going to be called loopy masterpiece. We’ve all passed a lot of water under the bridge since then.

I second this!
I haven't tried Loopy Pro yet but intend to do so now that MIDI is supported but since I only get seven days for free, how do I maximize my time when I only have maybe an hour per day to play with it?
Have ya’ll looked here https://patchstorage.com/explore/
I would start by spending some time with each of the Sample Projects MIDI Showcase and then each of the tutorial projects. And watch Michael’s 2 new (short) videos about midi:
Creating a project with 4 audio and 4 midi loops is a matter of taking loopy pro’s default project and deleting some audio loops and adding 4 midi loops. I think that part will be straightforward. If not, give a shout out.
@iansainsbury : this quick and dirty video I made, may help you get your first template set up. In it I remove all the audio clips before creating a midi clip. But hopefully the process will be clear:
All of this is incredibly helpful, thank you all. I’ll work through some tutorials, visit patchstorage, and follow @espiegel123 ’s MIDI video to get started. Once I get the basics, I’ll try using my OP-Z as a sequencer.
