What's your fav lofi app?
There are plenty of old and new lofi apps, I've been exploring chow tape, tape from caelum a while then daw cassette got in discount and I'm like why not, can't say I'm impressed much, it has some flavor for sure, could've gotten lofiaf instead. What's your fav or you think the best?

Chow Tape (honestly might be the best thing out there but you need to read the manual and practice), most of the Audiothing line, Reelbus, most of the Sketch Audio stuff, oh and K7D is nasty.
Lofiaf is terrible imo unless you want to sound like a cell phone call or RealAudio file from 2000.
Daw Cassette is...not good.
Needlepoint has nice compressor(s), don't care for the rest of it.
I love lo-fi-af. The best results come from turning the mix knob down and baking multiple passes into your sound. It's also nice to get some automation into it for movement.
Also a big fan of KoalaFX, nice and simple, predictably gritty. Drambo is a playground, tons of options for shaping and crushing sound, especially when you start working with envelope followers and such.
Lately I've been throwing DynaBunny on stuff, it's free or often free. Nice sample reduction and overdrive.
For emulating a variety of lofi analog sounds, I turn to Audiothing stuff. Love their apps.
+1 for Dynabunny! Recently been using it with that new J6 Synth, wild stuff. I know that dev likes to put out offshoots of his other apps like Beef and Roast Beef. Is Dynabunny a smaller Dynabit? Also is Dynabit any good?
@Squishy I don’t have DynaBit, but from a glance it looks like DynaBunny is indeed a stripped down version. Honestly I think Caelum is one of the best devs for putting out so much great free stuff, practically all their apps have useful little free version (Tape Cassette, Flux Mini, Roast Beef). Admittedly I’ve built some very similar stuff in Drambo so I don’t have a lot of use for those apps, but they are very accessible and easy to throw on a track.

It’s a simple one but RX950 still does a lot of lofi work for me. Input up, filter cutoff down. Sweet!
I'm a sucker for Doctor Vibe for a full lofi package
but for strictly wobble and vinyl effects, UA Needlepoint is my go-to
In fact I still use Needlepoint on top Doctor Vibe. I prefer Needlepoints crackle and wobble over Doctor Vibes
But I'll go strictly Doctor Vibe for its dirt and wobble from time to time (a more worn, distorted vibe) as my ears call for it
I've got a few others, but I tend to lean more towards vinyl than tape or other varieties
Edit: and for vocals, Things - Voice does some wonderful tricks

It's the same FX but as an audio unit. Also has scenes and an XY pad for crossfading them.
You looking for Lofi destruction/ degradation or Lofi saturation with some coloring?

Gauss is also great for degrading tape weirdness.
Lines and Wires are good ones from AudioThing. I don’t have it, but I’m curious about Speakers, seems like it might be good for this kind of thing.
There’s Ratshack Reverb from AudioDamage, for a very specific flavor of lo-fi.

Saturation and coloring.
I don’t have it but the New Kai Aras app Mr Lofi covers like 5 types of lofi sounds (vinyl, cassette, vcr, etc..) and has a simplified interface the video by @jakoB_haQ on YouTube made it look and sound pretty cool.
Chow tape, needlepoint, lo-fi-af, soundsaw, and low fly dirt is amazing!

Unfortunately Frobulator gives a “bad signal” message in AUM. Dev says he may not be able to fix it and doesn’t really have time for software development these days. The other two work fine for me and yes, they are great manglers. No AUv3 however.
