Hi All. Wanted to update the LiveSet template in patch storage.com, because some errors I noticed just recently - so sorry for those who were quick to download.
You can do so much with the effect combo: Turnado (with dictator), Looperator, Glitchcore, Bleass Granulizer and Delay, Perforator - just to mention the main ones. One known bug is with Looperator you need to start the clock - it will not work otherwise (have that automatically started in the other templates, but forgot on this one)
Please note that clips are now bigger.. They still have hardcoded grouping etc. per instruments. (e.g. drum and bass has playback only to one at a time)

Hi All. Wanted to share some of the first experience of the new "Essentials" template. Had to make a video spontaneously to so how you can make songs with the template. Now just overdoing effects and didn't have the inspiration. But you can hear some of my thoughts and see some examples..

Have spend hundreds of hours while doing it and investigating auv3 instruments. Related to Klevgränd's Oneshot actually I needed to fill in the presets as well with Looperator and Tornado.. others e.g. Bleass effects seems to offer their presets to dials - just a site note ;-)
Hi All. Now that Geoshred had some discounts - I fell into it.. Testing now with Geoshred Pro and bought even some instruments.. like Tenor sax and Bass trombone.. Preset brosing really is challenging - need to manually remove those "not purchased" ones, or create buttons to select quickly the favourites. Just thinking out loudly. Anyone any experiences of these physical modelled sounds inside Loopy Pro. Seems that there are not many parameters exposed to LP when tested..
@AkiVilla : GeoShred uses midi for parameter manipulation rather than AUv3 manipulation.

Hey, I saw this comment while scrolling through this thread and thought I should point out that the 16GB of RAM comes with any of the M series iPad Pro models that have the 1TB or higher storage option.
For example, I have the 12.9” M1 (5th gen) iPad Pro with 1 TB storage, and it has the 16GB of RAM. They don’t let us choose the RAM options, ie; you choose the storage option. If you choose 1TB or higher, you automatically get the 16GB of RAM.

Impressive template you have here. Looks like it would be fun to play with, but honestly way more complicated than what I’d use when making music. It’s nice to know though, that Loopy Pro can facilitate all of this provided one has the hardware (iDevice).
@Edward_Alexander Hi. Thanks.. have slso 8 Gb M1 iPad air and at least Essential version of the template is fine there. My main template is growing alltime, but will try to make it clearer at some point. Also kind of testing the limits..Thanks for the feedback 👍
Hi All. Now this is a longer journey with 120 Bpm and A Minor beat, but with some very groovy moments - I'm showcasing sounds with Loopy Pro Template (Instruments Page), Loopy Pro Template for Liveset and SP404 with samples and loops that match. iPads are connected with Ableton live sync. Versions of the templates I share in patchstorage.com for FREE. Huge work is e.g. to collect that content to LP Liveset and SP projects..
Could also record some results to song page - but now it remains untouched. One idea would be to record stems or best moments from jamming or layers to clips in Song page and then use scenes.. But now just looking how everything sounds together.
Connected to Focusrite Scarlett and SP404 (2 iPads, one with usb-c and another one with usb-c to audio). All iPads are having hubs (usb-c) and using input 3+4 to get Sp into Focusrite 4i4.
Hi. In my main template I have used 12 auv3 instruments and in another page I have used 8 beat instruments - all AUV3.
Now started to create separate pages as already done for Chomplr and Koala and Korg Module + Tera Pro.
Next one is OneShot - created one page for it.. So I'm showing how it's done to extend the template to individual auv3 instrument pages - with xy effects and other basic effects and midi / audio recording clips..video pending ;-)
Why I'm doing this.. Added effects sends per instrument for every bus (now always full and needs to be adjusted in the mixer) and also will add other parameters that are adjusting the instrument capabilities..
Hi All. This is a preview of the current state of my "HUGE" template - And also an introduction, how I will have also separate instrument pages for each auv3 instrument. It's also possible and quick to replace the auv3 instrument from LP mixer.. Thanks Loopy for this flexibility!
I think it's nice to be able to set some auv3 instrument specific adjustments while creating soundscape. Like effect settings, controls - what ever parameters that are exposed. But at the same time you don't have to. You can layer them in instrument page with just default presets and quick browsing.. either way is good - if it sounds good to You ;-)
Just a small but important reminder related to my templates. I have a bit of different workflow with these song templates - main difference is that I'm not using LP's sequencer at all, but using the audio clips at the end with the scenes with mastering effects. And using midi as intermediate way to get to audio clips when quantizing is needed.
@espiegel123 I’m wondering abut the limits, could I theoritically have like 60 auv3 instruments on my template, if I keep only few active? Then i could create grouped instrument pages like eg. Synths, orchestral, basses, world, beat etc. Now i have 12 for melodic and 8 for beat, but by grouping I could have more flexible performance mixes with nice default sounds etc..
Probably not. While idling instruments stops plugins from using DSP resources (what the cpu indicator represents) , they still use memory and other cpu (hence power/battery)
Thanks @espiegel123 again for the very valuable info. Then I just need to separate instrument groups to different templates.. So propably my main template with 12+8 auv3's instruments and ten effect buses with more than 20 auv3 effects is kind of max. I suppose don't need to stretch from that further. It works surprisingly fine with 16Gb iPad Pro M2, 8Gb iPad air M1 and 8Gb ipad air M3. Of course depending a bit from the combo..
Hi All. Just wanted to so how creative it is to work with this Loopy Pro Template system. Just sculpting some sounds, taking some scene to play along with it or just separately. And also the mastering is kind of good enough level with Grand Finale + Enhancer combo.
The benefit of creating separated instrument pages with single or dual auv3 instruments is to get attention to instruments separately and add some instrument specific adjustments. E.g. in Iconica Sketch page I can trigger the variations of orchestral instruments like staccato, pizzicato, vibrato sounds etc. And in Korg Module Page I can set all the main parameters of Effect sends per preset..
I'm still keeping instrument "layer" page to create amazing combinations. Because that's quite special - have done earlier in AUM.
Hi All. Continuing presenting Instrument pages - This page is for Iconic sketch, orchestral auv3 plugin. Created even articulation switches for notes, but then noticed that it's not similar to all.. ok it's an option to use plugin's UI, so not a big problem. Just would like to use LP UI for all needed actions, but maybe that's an.impossible mission, or at least in some cases it will add some more complexity level. CHECK ESPECIALLY THE END OF THE VIDEO - I think cello sounded quite decent

Separating to synth pages with either dual or single synth pages. To set focus to individual auv3's potential more.This time Nerd synth and Flowtones. In instrument pages I can add internal instrument effects in addition to huge set of effects buses and their adjustments..
Can layer a big presentation in main "instrument page" with 12 instruments, but there are clearly some overheating issues as well as sounds suffers a bit overlapping on frequencies etc.
I'm going to separate this HUGE template to two different versions. One for performance and one for recording and mastering. So e.g. the last one only has colours / instruments to play with scenes in song page and a mastering page with added EQ, Grand Finale and TB Enhancer.. And another one will be focused on these auv3 instruments. Both will have the same set of effect buses and effects..

Now I think this is special - to access all the pads and effects of Koala with Loopy Pro one page.. then use additional effects to create audio clips. Launch any combos etc.
I'm still working on this - missing e.g. reset buttons and midi recording from the "note buttons" etc.. Will of course share it for FREE at some point, when I'm happy with it.
Didn't even have to use more than one Koala in the template. Then you can connect with your sample libraries / Koala songs / sound sets or whatever sounds..
and with combination to "auv3 world", the possibilities are endless.
Koala and Loopy Pro integrations is vital - what comes to sample library access and time stretching. I have this page to use Koala Sampler as an instrument and all 4 banks of pads are exposed as well as all effects of Koala Sampler. Loopy Pro template is of course bringing everything from auv3 world in to picture as well as "the great song page" ;-)

This is just a first test, how well MPC integrates as a sound source to Loopy Pro.
I'm surprised positively. Still need to think about synchronisation and workflow a bit further.
But while having so much content in MPC Live 2 ssd, I don't want them to be wasted. Like thousands of key groups, many expansions, Maschine drum kits converted.. just to mention few.
In this preview, I just test some "effect station" capabilities and recording directly to song page to create some kind of groove.

Have been creating this Template with hundreds of hours spend. Most of them to investigations and learning though ;-)
It is most useful for Appoholics and persons, who have bought variety of AUV3 effects and instruments and consider themself as iPad musicians.
Will share this one free through patch storage.com. Unless it's too big to bee download - then need to find another way.
FEATURES:
Created a new effect bus for Bleass Fusion and Phase Mutant,
Separated instrument pages either to one or dual instruments with some Specific adjustments.. e.g. to Korg Module and Electribe Wave,
Routed microphone more correctly - need to still be careful from the mic Interference and feedback
Added Soloist to same bus as Humanoid
Koala page now got note access to all "pads" and effects adjustments internally - even without using Koala eft plugin
Some midi automation test included - to connect to xy effects
Fixed "bugs"
Etc.
Check how it has been changed during the time, also LiveSet version will be new and presented with HipHop 90 Bpm / C Minor scale soon..

This Loopy Pro LiveSet Template will be shared FREE in few weeks. Finalising some hands on controls related to effect buses and touch effects. So that they are more playable. Main principle is that it has "launchpad" set for each pages and effect that are active during touching and some of them you can "lock" to position also..
Earlier version is already in patch storage.com - This one will be more optimal and use more effect buses.. and hopefully has improved usability.
