developers pls: vector mixer for AUM?!
Dear Developers,
a vector mixer for AUM would be really handy!
just imagine a rectangular interface with 4-6-8-x dots with channel numbers
that one can move around and arrange it as one wants. (color coded maybe)
and one extra special diffrent dot for mixing.
one arranges the channels in the playground, *locks the playground
and after that he can move the special dot around closer or further away from channels
that way the volumes of channels are brought in and out.
*ofcourse one can unlock the playground and move/multitouch the channels dots
relative to the central "mixing" dot...
simple yet so so handy to perform!!!
ofcourse, there are tons of improvements possible
like: record and replay of the special dot path, with speed and pauses,
dot(s) inertia, stages morphing, randomization of dots position,
delete a channel (with fade out time), jitter for dots, physics,
drunk walk for special dot, curve for volume + and -, etc
hope some1 will take the challenge:)
big thnx!

There's Visual Mixer by @Blue_Mangoo. I don't have it, but it looks very cool. Here's Doug's video.
pbelgium:
visual mixer is far far away
from a vector mixer!
its just a mixer.
My bad. I got the wrong end of the stick.
pbelgium:
no worries;)
thats what forums are for.:)
cool idea
I bet you could accomplish something like that with TC-Data using midi mapping to the AUM channel faders.
What about Audioscope by Paul?
